Ever since I watched the movie Under the Tuscan Sun, I have been in love with the Amalfi Coast. This is where the main character Francesca, has a lovely romance with the handsome Italian man named Marcelo.
I visited this area in 2007 but my stay was too short. I promised myself that in my next visit I was going to take the time to explore all its beauty. So I did.
The Amalfi Coast is a 50 kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania Region. The panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea mixed with rugged shorelines, sheer cliffs and pastel colored villages make the perfect combination for absolutely sublime images.
I share with you my best pictures of the Amalfi Coast. I hope you enjoy them so much, that it makes you want to visit this beautiful area on your next trip to Italy.
DON’T WAIT, MAKE A PLAN, POSTPONE NOTHING.
